Official Worldwide Eyebrowfestival Rules

Please read and understand the following terms and conditions as they are binding for all ticket purchases.

The Worldwide Eyebrow Festival Rotterdam is an informative, not educational event.

  • No exchange of tickets will be made under any circumstances and tickets are not transferable.
  • No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances except pursuant to conditions under Event Cancellation or Postponement.
  • The tickets may be collected at the door of the venue on the date of the event 2 hours before the beginning of the event. Purchaser MUST present ID/Passport and Booking Reference upon ticket collection.
  • No third party collection allowed. Entry will be refused if tickets have not been purchased from eyebrowfestival.com.
  • Latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break during the performances.
  • YEVGENIA EVENTS BV or/ and Venue Owner reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.
  • No photography, audio or video recording is allowed during the event unless otherwise stated by YEVGENIA EVENTS BV the Speaker of a particular presentation.
  • YEVGENIA EVENTS BV may add, withdraw or substitute speakers and/or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements and audience capacity without prior notice.
  • YEVGENIA EVENTS BV /Venue Owner may use the ticket holder’s image or likeness in any live or recorded video display, photograph or picture.
  • YEVGENIA EVENTS BV may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.
  • The Ticket Holder agrees to submit to any search for any prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances and recording devices.
  • The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual event, including any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.
  • Information is collected from those registering with eyebrowfestival.com in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.
  • Purchasers of tickets who are under 18 years of age should seek parental consent before purchasing tickets/merchandises from our website. By transacting on our website, purchaser certifies that purchaser is at least 18 years of age and understands and accepts these conditions of use.
  • Any complaints regarding the event will be directed to and dealt with by the Organizer.

 

Regulation and Conditions for exhibitors and sponsors

1. Terms of Reference

  • The term “Exhibitor” shall include all employees, servants and agents of and company, partnership firm or individual to whose space has been allocated for the purpose of exhibition.
  • “Exhibition” defines exhibition held from 13 MAY to 15 MAY 2024 during “Eyebrow Festival 2024” scheduled to be held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
  • The term “Organizer” shall mean “Yevgenia Events BV”.

2. Allocation of Exhibit Space

  • The organizer shall allocate the space to each exhibitor based on the type of space booked by the exhibitor, the earliness of payment and application, and the nature of exhibits or in other reasonable manners the organizer deems to fit.
  • The organizer shall reserve the right to change the space commencement of the exhibitor at any time
prior to the build-up of the exhibition, if any exceptional circumstances demand. Such changes shall be at the discretion of the organizer and the exhibitor shall have no claim for compensation as a result of the changes.

3. Applications for Participation / Terms of Payment

  • All applications for participation shall be made on the prescribed application form online on the official website. The application form shall be submitted to organizer.
  • The participation fee shall be paid to the designated account by the due date with the application form. Otherwise the organizer has the right to cancel the contract. The payment terms are 50% with signing the contract and 50% before 1 March 2024. The earlier the contract is signed the longer advertisement period of sponsor/exhibitor will be.
  • Exhibitors without sponsoring or festival ticket, have limited access to activities between 11 and 15 May 2024.

4. Use of Exhibit Space

  • The construction, installation and dismantling of booths must be conducted by the date and time stipulated and in accordance with the exhibitor’s manual set forth by the organizer.
  • Modifications including decorations such as painting the floor, ceiling and pillars will not be permitted. The exhibitor shall be responsible for compensating any damages to the exhibition hall.

5. Security and Fire Regulations

  • The organizer shall take all reasonable security precautions in the interests of exhibitors and visitors. The organizer shall not be held responsible for any loss or theft of or damage to exhibits at the exhibition hall during the build-up, exhibition and dismantling periods.
  • Materials used in stand and display construction must be properly fire-proofed in accordance with regulations of organizing committee. The organizer has the right, should circumstances necessitate, to make changes in the exhibitor’s booth in the interest of the control.

5. Security and Fire Regulations

  • The organizer shall take all reasonable security precautions in the interests of exhibitors and visitors. The organizer shall not be held responsible for any loss or theft of or damage to exhibits at the exhibition hall during the build-up, exhibition and dismantling periods.
  • Materials used in stand and display construction must be properly fire-proofed in accordance with regulations of organizing committee. The organizer has the right, should circumstances necessitate, to make changes in the exhibitor’s booth in the interest of the control.

Official Worldwide Championships Rules

  1. The country representative will ensure competitors adhere to the rules outlined by the Head Office during the semi-final stage. These rules will remain effective in both the semi-final and final stages. All participants must strictly follow the championship rules. Failure to do so may result in sanctions or disqualification, as determined by the country representative during the semi-finals or by the head office during the finals.
  2. If a participant or their model is late, does not show up, or cancels on the day of the event, they will be disqualified, and no refunds will be issued.
  3. Participants must arrive at least one hour before the scheduled application time, along with their live model, at the designated semi-final area.
  4. The jury will monitor the application process to ensure all rules are followed and will report any violations.
  5. Models must be photographed both before and after the procedures.
  6. Models must be free of make-up before and during the application, except for the use of a modeling pen
  7. Participants are given two and a half hours for the entire process, including modeling, anesthesia, and the procedure itself. An additional 15 minutes is allocated for setting up and cleaning the workstations. Jury members will inspect the working conditions and model readiness before granting permission to start.
  8. Competitors and models must remain in the designated area from the start of the application period until the end of the competition. They can only leave the hall with a supervisor to use the restroom. The jury may penalize or disqualify those who violate this rule.
  9. Models must not have any make-up or previous permanent make-up on their faces.
  10. Models must fill out a consent form, agree to follow the rules, and assume responsibility for the procedure.
  11. Models must give written consent for their photographs and videos to be taken during the procedure.
  12. Models must be at least 18 years old.
  13. Models are required to wear a white t-shirt and black pants.
  14. Competitors must wear a disposable long sleeve surgical gown or white overalls.
  15. Models must wear shoe covers when lying on the stretcher for the application.
  16. Competitors must tie their hair back in a ponytail or bun.
  17. All removable parts (needles, cartridges) must be in sterile packaging.
  18. Before putting on gloves, competitors must wear caps and masks, both for themselves and their models.
  19. All accessories such as bracelets, watches, and rings must be removed.
  20. Hands must be washed before applying hand sanitizer (provided during the competition) and then gloves must be worn.
  21. The models’ skin must be cleaned with an alcohol-based sanitizer before application.
  22. The modeling pencil must be sharpened with a sterile sharpener, and the skin must be sanitized.
  23. All products used during the procedure must be wrapped in cling film, and the device cable must be covered with a protector.
  24. Participants must change gloves whenever they touch an object. If they touch items like chairs or stretchers, gloves must be removed before contact and new gloves must be worn and disinfected afterward. Gloves should also be changed if they touch any items while wearing them.
  25. Phones must be disinfected, wrapped in cling film, and used only for taking photos. Talking on the phone during work is prohibited.
  26. Participants must comply with all mandatory hygiene rules for the application.
  27. Work area organization: The workspace must be cleaned after the application. All disposable materials must be discarded, and all hygiene rules must be strictly followed.
  28. Participants are responsible for the safety of their procedures, the health of their models, and the results of their work.
  29. Competitors agree that the scoring by the jury members listed below is fair and objective.
  30. Competitors acknowledge that they have read and understood the rules in this document and will comply with all articles.
  31. Competitors are not allowed to post any photos of their live models on social media before the competition or share them with anyone. Violating this rule will result in disqualification.

The Championship Rounds

Round 1. Latex Round

First, participants will work with latex, and the best 5 will advance to the next round. If there are among the best 5 contestants with the same points, they all advance. Participants may be brought forward until 5 are selected. No ranking will be considered here, only the number of participants.

Work Environment and Equipment of Competitors

 

  1. The organizer provides a workspace for each participant. In each workspace, the following will be provided by the organizer:  ─ Stretcher  ─ Expert stool ─ Shelving unit ─ Lamp ─ Electrical socket ─ Mirror  ─ Trashcan   
  2. All other materials and equipment must be brought by the participant. Things to be present during the application;

Device ─ Disposable equipment such as needles and cartridges ─ Pigment ─ Disinfectant/Sanitizer  ─ Modeling pencil, brush, pencil sharpener  ─ Anesthetic ointment ─ Surgical gown or beauty expert work clothes set ─ Shoe covers or an extra pair of shoes ─ Tweezers etc. (other materials required for the application)   THE EQUIPMENT MENTIONED ABOVE WILL BE BROUGHT  BY THE COMPETITOR

 

 

By participating in this competition, all competitors agree to adhere to these rules and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and hygiene throughout the event. Hygiene standards must comply with EU regulations, and all participants must use REACH-certified pigments.

There will always be a €75 Withdrawal Fee for withdrawals. No refund on Championship registration fees.

Event Cancellation or Postponement

  • If an event is postponed or cancelled, a Postponement Publicity Notice or a Cancellation Publicity Notice (collectively, the ”Notices” or individually, a ”Notice”) respectively shall be placed in the media by the Organizer. Any refund made by YEVGENIA EVENTS BV shall only be made out of sums held by YEVGENIA EVENTS BV. The amount of refund will be made on a pro-rated basis (”Pro-rated Amount”) in accordance with the amount of the said sums held by YEVGENIA EVENTS BV and the price paid by the ticket holder for the ticket. YEVGENIA EVENTS BV shall not be liable to make a refund beyond the Pro-rated Amount under any circumstances.
  • The Notices shall advise procedures for requesting a refund and the period and time within which the ticket holder could request a refund.
  • Refund will not be entertained if a request for a refund is made after the given period from the date of a Notice. Such unrefunded sums shall be dealt with at YEVGENIA EVENTS BV’s sole discretion.
  • In the event of cancellation, all tickets purchased using credit cards shall automatically be refunded to the credit cards with which the tickets were purchased. If such credit cards are no longer valid, no automatic refunds will be made and condition below shall apply.
